Amateur musicians who play violin, viola and cello are invited to join The Edinburgh Quartet for a free workshop before the performance (at 6pm for approximately 1 hour), and to then join the quartet on stage to perform the Tom Harrold 'Elegy'. Scores for this flexible, free and partly improvised piece can be made available in advance and it is recommended for players of grade 5/6+ standard.
