Frazer Theatre Comedy Club - October 2024

On Friday 4th October 2024, The Frazer Theatre Comedy Club welcomes a fantastic line up with Nick Doody, Chris Stokes, Ryan Kenny and Jon Pearson.

Tickets are just £10 in advance with any remaining tickets available on the door for £12. We regularly sell out in advance so don’t risk waiting until the night!

Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Blithe Spirit

From Wednesday 16th to Saturday 19th October, The Knaresborough Players are proud to present Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit.

Researching for his latest book, Charles Condamine invites eccentric medium Madame Arcati to a traditional dinner party followed by a séance. Amidst the chaos of the evening, the malevolent spirit of his long dead ex-wife is summoned and promptly disturbs the fragile comfort of Charles and his new wife. Ripe with Coward’s signature pithy wit and memorable characters, this ‘improbable farce’ explores marriage, life, and death.

There are performances at 7pm each evening with a matinee at 2pm on Saturday. Tickets are £10 (£8 over 60/under16).

Gaelforce

On Friday 25th October, Frazer Theatre Music presents Gaelforce, an award winning Celtic Folk Rock Band who were the 2023 winners of the introducing stage at the Great British Folk Festival by public vote to an audience of 2-3000 people.

Playing traditional Irish & Scottish songs & tunes in a folk rock style similar to the likes of Runrig and Wolfstone.

Tickets are £14 (booking fee applies). Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm.

As featured on BBC Two’s Mock The Week and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, Robin Morgan is back on the road with a hilarious brand new show, The Spark - his biggest tour to date. 
His previous shows have dealt with a proposal, marriage, kids and a vasectomy. So what’s next on the list? Divorce? No, not divorce. It’s about how to keep the spark alive. Not just in a marriage, but also in yourself? Robin’s shows have always been about others. Now it’s time to focus on himself.

Tickets are £14 plus £1.40 booking fee. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. Age guidance: 14+. Duration: 55 minutes
 

Frazer Theatre Comedy Club - November 2024

On Friday 1st November the Frazer Theatre Comedy celebrates ten glorious years with our very biggest and best show ever! Yes, unbelievably, it’s been a whole decade since your comedy crew took their first tentative steps, blinking in the light of the dazzling array of talent they were destined to bring you.

Joining us for this huge event are Nick Helm, John Robertson, Lauren Pattison and Carl Jones.

We’ve pulled out all the stops to bring you the absolute best show we possibly can  to mark this massive milestone and best of all the tickets are still just £10 in advance, £12 on the door (while stocks last which, frankly, they won’t). Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Abba Sensation!

On Friday November 15th, Frazer Theatre Music presents Abba Sensation. After their last sold out visit two years ago, we simply had to have them back!
 
Widely considered to be one of the best ever Abba Tribute Acts, they play to packed theatres and festivals throughout Europe. A stunning stage show, which combines costume changes, lighting effects and a faithful reproduction of the Abba sound.

Tom As Usual

On Saturday 23rd November, the simply sensational Robert T Leonard comes to Knaresborough with his Tom As Usual Showband.

Close your eyes and Robert IS Tom Jones - open them up again - and he’s STILL Tom!!! The look, the mannerisms, the moves, the accent - and most of all - THE VOICE!!! Astonishing vocals from an astonishing vocalist!!! And all backed by a superb band - who’s energy really brings Sir Toms classic songs to life.

Atom Heart Floyd

On Friday 29th November, Frazer Theatre Music welcomes back Atom Heart Floyd, a group of professional musicians who have a shared passion – to reproduce the classic sound of Pink Floyd live.

Focusing on delivering the songs every Pink Floyd fan wants to hear, along with a few extra rarities and album tracks, Atom Heart Floyd deliver over 2 hours of music including songs from The Wall, Wish You Were Here, and The Dark Side Of The Moon, plus songs from Animals, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Meddle, The Final Cut, The Division Bell, and A Momentary Lapse of Reason.

Elvis - The If I Can Dream Tour

On Saturday 7th December, Frazer Theatre Music presents Elvis, The If I Can Dream Tour, starring Victor Andrews

Direct from Benidorm (If I can Dream tour) and winner of many awards, Victor Andrews is a world leading Elvis tribute impersonator. This show will leave you with a true feeling of a night with the King of Rock and Roll!

Puss in Boots Family Pantomime

From Thursday 16th to Saturday 25th January, the Knaresborough Players will be performing their annual family pantomime "Puss in Boots". With something for all of the family this is a show not to be missed!

Jack, the Miller’s son, has been left with just the family cat in his father’s will and although he has great ambitions it is unlikely he will amount to much! Things soon change with the arrival of his Auntie Hettie and the revelation that Puss can talk (and looks pretty fetching in a pair of boots)! Soon Jack, Auntie and Puss are embroiled in a complex scheme to persuade the King and Queen that Jack (aka. the Marquis of Carabas) is suitable husband material for the beautiful Princess. But first they will have to contend with a jealous noble suitor, a pair of dastardly henchmen, and a gruesome, villainous, shape-shifting Ogre!

The Rod Stewart Songbook

On Sunday 2nd February Frazer Theatre Music welcoms back The Rod Stewart Songbook, a tribute to the great Rod Stewart featuring a full live band.

The Rod Stewart Songbook’s spectacular theatre production is the ultimate homage to Rod Stewart, featuring Pete McCall, Europe’s foremost tribute. Along with his sensational live band, you will be taken on a musical journey spanning 50 years, when one of rock music’s greatest icons sold over 250 million records worldwide. These unforgettable hits include Sailing, Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Some Guys Have All The Luck, Baby Jane, Rhythm Of My Heart, You Wear It Well, Hot Legs and many many more.

Belle Voix - The classic sounds of Northern Soul & Motown.

On Friday 28th February 2025, Frazer Theatre Music presents Belle Voix, a stunning female trio who invite you to celebrate the classic sounds of Northern Soul & Motown.

Ready Steady 60s Show

On Friday 28th March 2025 Frazer Theatre Music welcomes the Ready Steady 60s show as they bring alive the magic of the Sixties, with their tribute to The Mod 60’s and British Beat Boom songs of that era.

The show encompasses a kicking live band with stunning vocals plus video screen flashbacks from television history, including: TV programmes, adverts and footage from the original bands.

The Roy Orbison Experience

On Friday 18th April 2025 Frazer Theatre Music presents The Roy Orbison Experience.

Get ready to experience the magic of Roy Orbison like never before!  The Roy Orbison Experience performing the songbook of Roy Orbison, including Pretty Woman, Penny Arcade, You Got It, Only The Lonely, I Drove All Night, plus many more hits from his career.

The Ultimate 70s Show

Join in the Ultimate Party as Seventies music show comes to the Frazer Theatre on Saturday day 5th July 2025.

It was the decade that fashion forgot – but dust off your lurex loons, the Seventies are back in town. The Ultimate 70s Show is a totally live tribute to the rock and pop idols of the 1970s, featuring the music of Slade, T.Rex, The Sweet, David Bowie, Suzi Quatro, Alice Cooper, Mott the Hoople and Queen to name but a few.

On Saturday 26th July 2025 join Desperados as they make their return to our theatre with their FAST LANE TOUR 2025.

Alchemy Live - Dire Straits Tribute

On Friday 12th September 2025, Frazer Theatre Music welcomes back Alchemy Live, a tribute to Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler. 

Formed in 2022 by frontman Martin Ledger, Alchemy Live hail from Yorkshire and bring together a group of professional players and friends who share a common love of the music of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits. Collectively the band have toured worldwide and have shared the stage with rock legends such as Mike Rutherford, Mick Hucknell, Roger Taylor and many more.
