Secondary Cause of Death

From Wednesday 15th to Saturday 18th May, the Knaresborough Players will be performing "Secondary Cause of Death", a hilarious whodunnit spoof written by Peter Gordon.

This is a sequel to "Murdered to Death" which was performed by the Knaresborough Players in May 2019 which was enjoyed by all who attended - but don't worry if you missed out, you don't need to have seen it to see this!

It’s 1939, and storm clouds are gathering over Europe. Having inherited Bagshot House, Colonel Charles Craddock has converted the property into a hotel for the discerning visitor. Soon Inspector Pratt arrives once again at Bagshot House, bearing grim news for the Colonel. But that’s just the beginning - Who is the strange Polish Count? Is Henrietta really an army captain? And where does the flamboyant thespian Cardew Longfellow fit into the picture? When Joan Maple’s sister Cynthia arrives to stage a murder mystery evening, it’s not long before Pratt’s visit turns into a chaotic nightmare as the bodies pile higher than ever!

There are performances every evening and a matinee at 2pm on Saturday 18th May.

Tickets are £10 (£8 over 60/under 16).

Doors open 30 minutes before the show starts and seating is unallocated so please arrive in good time to ensure your party can sit together.

All ticket sales are final and no refunds can be offered unless the event is cancelled.
