The Selfish Giant's Garden - A Riverhouse Christmas Exhibition

Step into a world of enchantment this Christmas season at the Robert Phillips gallery, where the Selfish Giant's garden awaits! Help us thaw the giant's frozen heart and turn the garden into a Springtime paradise.

The exhibition will showcase collaborative artwork by the talented local illustrator Jessica Smith and animators Louise Lovekin and Charlie, along with whimsical crafts created by the charming local school children. Follow us on social media for interesting art and crafts workshop times. Be part of the exhibition and don't miss out on this spellbinding experience!

Exhibition of YOUR artwork about the future world, works by children created at Walton Heritage Festival 2023, and those by Kenyan and Brazilian children. The art station will also be open for you to add your bit of imagination to our FUTURE.  Plus a mini sing-along activity of 'It's a Small World' in multi-languages. Come and see how many languages of the song we can sing in one day!

Free to participate. All materials will be provided. Just drop-by!

Same Sea, Different Boat

A creative community project bringing together individual experiences, thoughts and emotions about the time in lockdown. Individual collagraph printed and stitched squares of fabric are joined together to make a quilt illustrating the varied experiences of being quarantined because of Covid-19. The work of five artists will also be on show during this exhibition.

This exhibition from Aboriginal Art UK (Aboriginal Art UK | United Kingdom) features work from some of Australia’s leading Aboriginal artists.
The term ‘Country’ has a particular significance to Aboriginal peoples. It encompasses the interdependent relationship between the people and their ancestral lands and seas, as well as connections to family, culture and identity. There will be works available from central and western desert artists, each of whom have a unique perspective and style when depicting their country and stories. 
 

Oil Paintings by Rodney Kingston

Oil painter Rodney Kingston will exhibit a wide range of subjects inspired by painting from life. Highlights include London scenes, the Thames, portraits, still life works and famous footballers painted on retro shirts.There will also be a small display of artwork by Rodney's father, David Kingston, who was a fine artist specialising in aircraft to commemorate 40 years since he passed away.
