Scoot Youth Theatre Workshop

Scoot Youth exists to empower young people: a youth theatre that gives teenagers the space to tell the stories important to them – to have their voices heard and understood.

Creative Stitch Class (19/4/2023 to 5/7/2023, 10am)

Creative Stitch and Textiles
Tutor: Claire Grahame
Cost: £95 (ten weeks, 19/4/2023 to 5/7/2023)

This is a relaxed and friendly course. It offers a combination of techniques such as batik, felting and machine sewing along with more traditional hand embroidery. For the textiles project this summer term, we will be looking at texture and mark making on 2” squares.

Shared Future Festival 2023

Set in the international world of Western classical music the film centres on Lydia Tár, (Cate Blanchett), widely considered one of the greatest living composer-conductors and the very first female director of a major German orchestra.

“ArtWork Out is an annual exhibition of work produced by GCSE and A-Level students studying Fine Art, Textiles and Photography at Three Rivers Academy. The purpose of the exhibition is to celebrate the amazing achievements of our students and display the wide range of personal work that they create.

Mount Felix Tapestry

The Mount Felix Tapestry, begun in 2014, returns to the Robert Phillips Gallery. Its 46 panels tell the story of the No. 2 NZ General Hospital at Mount Felix, in Walton-on-Thames, which was set up during World War 1. A chance to view this amazing community project which has been stitched by over 1,000 stitchers from Walton-on-Thames to Christchurch in New Zealand.
