Mimesis presents AbidA - A Feast for the Senses

On 30th November, Mimesis presents AbidA - A Feast for the Senses.

Art forms and genres coalesce in a performance that demonstrates how difference can at once be celebrated, reconciled and transcended. Based on a traditional north African ritual, the show consists of seven scenes which present evocations of each of seven thematic colours through dance, sound, poetry, imagery and fragrance. 

Tickets are £8 (£6 concessions - Pensioners/Students/Unwaged). Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. 

Frazer Theatre Comedy Club - December 2022

The Frazer Theatre Comedy Club gets into the festive spirit on Friday 2nd December. Kick off your Christmas season with a mince pie, some mulled wine and four of the best comedy acts in the country!
Tickets continue to be just £10 in advance, £12 on the door, but our last two shows have been sell outs so book early to avoid disappointment – once they’re gone, they’re gone!

The Snow Queen - Family Pantomime

After three years of waiting, the Knaresborough Players famous family pantomime finally returns in January 2023 with The Snow Queen – oh yes it does!

Join Gerda as she travels to the evil Snow Queen’s Ice Palace in search of her best friend Kai. As she heads north, making new friends along the way, dame Granny Fanny-Annie and Gerda’s daft cousin Helmut are not far behind.  Directed by John Pearce, this traditional pantomime, adapted by Alan P Frayn from Hans Christian Andersen tale, is filled with laughter and music for adults and children alike.

Tickets £10 (£8 over 60/under 16). Children under the age of 2 do not require a ticket but will be required to sit on the knee of a member of your party. If you require a seat for them, please purchase a concession ticket.

Mike Wozniak: Zuza

On Thursday 2nd February, The Frazer Theatre Comedy Club and Little Wander in association with PBJ Management present Mike Wozniak "Zuza".

Ever wondered how Mike’s Great-Aunt Zusa made it from Poland to Luton with a war nipping at her heels? Here’s your chance to find out.  

As seen on Taskmaster (Channel 4), Man Down (Channel 4) and Would I Lie To You? (BBC One). As heard on Small Scenes (BBC Radio 4), the St Elwick’s Neighbourhood Association Newsletter podcast and the Three Bean Salad podcast.

GM Live - The Ultimate Tribute to George Michael

On Friday 10th February, Frazer Theatre Music and Carlton Entertainments present GM Live- The Ultimate tribute to George Michael.

This joyous new show celebrates the music of one of the most iconic and best singer songwriters of all time, the incredible George Michael.

Tickets are £22 plus £2 booking fee.  
Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm.

Scott Bennett: Great Scott

On Friday 24th February 2023, Frazer Theatre Comedy and Live Nation present comedian Scott Bennett with his brand new tour show "Great Scott".

In massive demand as a comedy writer and with regular appearances on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz and The Now Show, Scott is an act on the verge of breaking through into the big time. 

Tickets are £15 plus £1.50 booking fee. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm.

This show has been rearranged from 28th May 2022. All tickets have been transferred to the new date.

The Greatest Magician

On Saturday 18th March SHOWMAN Live Presents The Greatest Magician.

A dazzling new magic show, presented by the magician most infamous for jamming the BBC switchboard
after he correctly predicted the lottery, this enigmatic, 5 star rated show promises to leave you dizzy in
disbelief. James Phelan is The Greatest Magician.

Alchemy Live - Dire Straits Tribute

On Friday 31st March, Frazer Theatre Music presents Alchemy Live, the new tribute to Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler. 

Formed in 2022 by frontman Martin Ledger, Alchemy Live hail from Yorkshire and bring together a group of professional players and friends who share a common love of the music of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits. Collectively the band have toured worldwide and have shared the stage with rock legends such as Mike Rutherford, Mick Hucknell, Roger Taylor and many more.

Legends of Motown

On Friday 14th April, Frazer Theatre Music presents Legends of Mowtown.

Legends of Motown is a high energy tribute show jam packed with all of Motown’s biggest hits, with stunning vocals and amazing live band, celebrating the music of the iconic and timeless Motown era. Undoubtedly the golden era of music, the show pays tribute to the legendary artists that appeared on the Motown label at that time.

Tickets are £20 (£2 booking fee applies). Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 7.30pm.

George! The Ultimate Tribute to George Harrison

On Saturday 2nd September, Frazer Theatre Music presents "George!", the ultimate tribute to George Harrison, starring Nick Bold. George! is a spirited performance that is as close to what it was like to be at an actual George Harrison concert as you could ever imagine.

With George! Nick is taking his passion for the quiet Beatle to a new level. The two hour plus performance is a tour de force that brings audiences to their feet with joy as Bold embodies the essence of Harrison with his virtuoso guitar playing and spot-on vocals. It’s all there, George’s biggest Beatles hits and all of his wonderful post-breakup solo material, including music from his 1980’s supergroup, The Traveling Wilburys.
