Life Drawing Classes

Held in the barn. Professional models posing each week supported by internationally trained artist Stephen Jones

Our ArtClub (Years 1-6) Half Term Workshop

'Our ArtClub' looks to develop and build on the basic understanding that the arts are all around us.
Students will work with a variety of techniques, experimenting with different formats, whilst building a personal portfolio of work for each child and capturing an invaluable record of their creativity!

Join our friendly, informal group of woodcarvers 
£8 per session - tools available but feel free to bring your own. 

Jewellery Making (Monday or Friday)

Come and learn the basic traditional skills of silver jewellery making and complete your very own design. Tools provided, but materials will be extra.

Alter Ego - Drama for Adults

Through drama games and acting exercises our fun workshop-style sessions will give you the freedom to explore the process of making drama without the pressure of being in a production. This is a relaxed and friendly course. It offers a combination of techniques such as batik, felting and machine sewing along with more traditional hand embroidery.
The course runs for ten weeks during term times only.

Oil Painting Class

Wednesday 3pm - 5pm
Discover the joys of oil painting!

Sign up for this 10-week course to learn everything you need to know about oil painting. Suitable for all levels of painter including complete beginners. Rodney Kingston will guide you through the materials and equipment required and cover subjects such as colour, tone and drawing, and teach you essential oil painting techniques. You'll discover all you need to know to confidently venture into the world of oil painting.

Wednesdays 3pm – 5pm beginning on 25 September through to 4 December with a break for half term on 30 October.

Watercolour Class (for adults)

A class for adults exploring watercolour. Tailored for all abilities and looking at both traditional and experimental techniques (incorporating other media) in still life and landscape painting.

Introduction to Enamelling

8 week course
Calling all budding enamelists! 
Would you like to learn how to fuse powdered glass to metal, which can achieve wonderful creative results? 
Our enamelling group is offering Beginners Skill Sessions. You will be signing up for 8 x 2hr sessions run over the Autumn term. You must be over 18 and be prepared to adhere to all safety procedures.
Autumn term dates are Tuesdays:  24th Sept + 1st Oct + 8th Oct + 15th Oct… 3 week 1/2 term gap… 12th Nov + 19th Nov + 26th Nov + 3rd Dec
Cost: £160 for 8  weeks (2 hour session per week). Pay separately for materials.
Cost includes RHB facilities,  teaching, kiln and tool usage. Copper metal and enamel material are paid for separately in class. Typical pendant costs  £5 to £10 depending on materials used.
