Rosie Trentham and Maisie Johnson Live (LUEF)!

Rosie Trentham
Rosie is a 16 year old singer, pianist & songwriter from West London.  Rosie has already been performing live as a singer pianist for several years. Influenced by singer songwriters such as Eva Cassidy and Joni Mitchell, she has been writing her own songs since she was 13 yrs old.  In 2017, Rosie was a finalist at the national competition Open Mic UK,  where she won a Showcase Award. Soon after this she released her debut EP "Glass Eye", which reached number 25 in the ITunes chart, followed by her 2nd EP "Love and other Shadows in 2018. Rosie is currently a full time music student at the BRIT School in Croydon; and she also studies musical composition and bassoon at the Junior Department of The Guildhall School of Music.    

Simon Trentham 
Simon (father of Rosie) is a cellist and cello teacher. He studied the cello at Birmingham Conservatoire and the Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale in Saluzzo, Italy. Simon played for several years as the solo cellist with the touring opera company Garden Opera. He has also taught the cello at The Guildhall School of Music Junior Department and Junior Trinity. Simon is now the owner-director of “Stringendo”, a Saturday school committed to training to young string players, based in Hammersmith. 

Maisie Johnson
Maisie is a 19 year old country/folk singer - songwriter from south west London. Starting writing songs and teaching herself to play guitar at age 12, she began performing aged 14. After joining forces with percussionist Sam Thyr in January 2017, Maisie released an EP, 'Sixteen', on December 1st 2017 which peaked at #3 on the UK iTunes Country album chart on the day of its release.

A few socially distanced tickets are available for this but please only book in family or support bubbles to enable us to seat you within covid regulations. Masks need to be worn at all times - there will be a reduced bar service.
